“Nobby” The Nuffield tractor joins the Orange and black family, ready to go to work towing the Coffee Trailer down to the Brampton Valley way car parks.
Nobby is a 1966 55 horse power Nuffield tractor built by British Leyland with a BMC diesel engine. Another beautiful example of solid British engineering!
A massive thank you to Andrea and Gavin from Spitfire Engineering in Brixworth (another incredible British engineering and innovation success story) who very kindly donated the use of their amazing transport and trailer without which I could not have retrieved Nobby from Kent for his important work in Northamptonshire, Your kindness is extraordinary!
You will also see some of the restoration photographs which was lovingly carried out circa 2012.
